The Global Coherence Index is a transdisciplinary research framework in active development.
At its core is a simple question: do the words, commitments, and actions of political leaders and institutions actually align? Do they serve the world they govern?
Publications
All GCI methodology papers are published open-access on Zenodo with permanent DOIs, in line with the framework’s commitment to transparency, reproducibility, and open science. Peer review is forthcoming.
Current Research
The GCI is currently conducting its first empirical case studies through discourse coherence analysis of political speeches across the American hemisphere. Each analysis applies the same rigorous methodology that includes claim segmentation, verifiability classification, evidential scoring, and rhetorical function analysis to produce comparable findings across speakers, systems, and political contexts.
